What the position entails:
- Execute mechanical engineering tasks as part of a multi discipline project team, according to procedures, standards, project scope, customer requirements and project schedule. Typically gas turbine package and its aux systems, including specification of components and equipment both for new equipment and for aftermarket modification projects
- Provide technical support within profession towards projects, supply chain management, field service, production, sub suppliers and sales organisation as required
- Participate in design reviews representing mechanical engineering
Qualifications required:
- Minimum bachelor degree within engineering
- Experience with use of 3D CAD systems
- Analytical skills
- Proactive and resourceful
- Well-structured and result-oriented
- Good communication and collaboration capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English, written and oral
Qualifications preferred:
- Knowledge of rotating equipment and associated aux systems
- Knowledge and experience of mechanical design according to international standards
- Oil and gas experience
