Consultant in offshore wind for global energy advisory services
We are looking for a consultant to join our Renewables Advisory team in delivering services to the renewable energy market in general and the wind industry in particular. You will primarily focus on our key customers within the offshore wind market, and typical services will include decision support (techno economic analysis), verification work, technical analysis, project risk management and due diligence.
Key tasks and deliveries include, but are not limited to:
•Provide technical advisory services in a global market, in particular towards clients engaged in floating wind
•Build relationships and manage interfaces with external clients
•Manage projects from inception through to completion
•Provide technical support in the areas of floating wind, wave and tidal
•Participate in business development activities
You will work closely with the rest of the team, composing of approximately 12 highly qualified professionals based in Høvik. You will also collaborate and have extensive contact with other departments, as various projects are staffed with multi-disciplinary experts in the company. As you will handle international clients, some travel should be expected.
•MSc degree in a relevant engineering field is required
•Minimum 3 years' experience providing services to the offshore wind energy sector
•Required background from relevant technical competence areas, such as metocean conditions, steel and concrete structures, load and response, hydrodynamics, moorings, anchors and geotechnical
•Experience in managing complex projects with multidisciplinary and remote teams is mandatory, demonstrating excellent project management skills
•Demonstrable skills in presentation and communication
•Excellent ability to produce clear written reports and communicate verbally in English
